​The collaborative art of chamber music provides a unique learning experience both socially and artistically, and requires the cultivation of a specialized skill set that translates easily to both orchestral and solo playing.  MSMS students will have the opportunity to play in chamber music ensembles that will be coached by the members of the Main Street Chamber Players.

The Main Street Music Studios is a consortium of private music teachers whose mission is to provide an intensive musical education for students in the greater metro Washington, D.C. area.  The teachers of the Main Street Music Studios offer its students a level of training that comes as a result of many years of professional teaching experience on both the college and precollege levels.  The teachers at MSMS  have degrees and diplomas from:
